Neighborhoods & Public Spaces

All Memphians deserve a high quality of life, access to great housing and public spaces, and a pathway to economic opportunity. We invest directly in neighborhoods, public spaces and a stronger community development ecosystem.

Funding Priorities

Focus neighborhoods

We work to make Downtown, South City, the Medical District and Binghampton vibrant, livable neighborhoods with affordable housing, strong small businesses, quality jobs and an inviting public realm.

Parks, trails, environment & mobility

We support signature and neighborhood parks, the trails that connect them to community and the preservation of our natural resources. We invest in bike/ped infrastructure and mobility options.

Strengthening the community development ecosystem

We support programs and partners that strengthen the neighborhood development ecosystem and build resident capacity citywide.
