Seeking a Facilitator to Strengthen Nonprofit Board Governance

Hyde Family Foundation invites proposals from experienced facilitators to lead a collaborative session focused on improving nonprofit board governance in Memphis.

We are looking for a skilled consultant to design and facilitate a working session with local organizations that train, onboard, and match nonprofit board members. The goal: explore how Memphis providers can align efforts and strengthen board leadership citywide.

Key Details:

• Who: Facilitators with expertise in nonprofit governance, training, and collaboration

• Scope:

  • Plan and prepare for an in-person, collaborative session

  • Conduct pre-session nonprofit survey and landscape review

  • Facilitate half-day (estimated) meeting of approximately 10 organizations

  • Document and share insights and actionable next steps

  • Support post-session follow-up

• Deadline: Proposals due by July 28, 2025
