Apply for a Grant


Before seeking support, please thoroughly review the Hyde Family Foundation's impact areasinvestment interests, Theories of Change and Action, and revised grant cycle deadlines.  We ask that any non-current grantee organizations that plan to apply at any deadline please contact the appropriate Program Director or Officer in advance of submitting an application to discuss the viability of a potential new request. If the program staff member believes your organization and/or project may fit within the Foundation's interests, you may submit an electronic application for funding through our website. Applications must be accompanied by all the required attachments listed in the application.

Important Notes:

  • A tutorial and brief video on managing your Applicant Dashboard and applying for funding through our portal can be found here.
  • While each organization will have one singular account, more than more user may be linked or added to collaborate on an application through the Collaborate feature. Should you need direction on how to use this feature, please read or watch the brief video here for this tutorial.
  • Previous grant application responses can be copied and pasted into a current request. Click here to read about or watch a brief video tutorial on how to do so.
  • Please add to your email's Safe Senders list so that automatically generated system emails (such as confirmation of registration and submission of application) can be received and do not go into your junk/spam folder. 

All applications will be carefully reviewed by staff, and select applications will then be reviewed quarterly by Foundation Trustees. Applications are typically reviewed at the Trustee meetings, but some funding decisions may be deferred or considered out-of-cycle, when necessary. You will be notified promptly when your application is received, and you will be updated on the status of your application within six to twelve weeks of submission.
