Positioning Memphis' Authentic Assets

The Hyde Family Foundations believe that positioning Memphis for the future begins with cultivating our city’s authentic assets. We work with dynamic community partners to strengthen and showcase the city’s assets in the following areas:

Arts and Culture – Creative, entrepreneurial people want to live in a city with a thriving arts community. In Memphis, arts and cultural institutions are the cornerstones of the city’s rich heritage and future growth.

Civic Growth and Leadership – We support innovative, city-building initiatives that help develop, attract and retain our next generation of leaders, ensuring that Memphis is positioned for the knowledge-based economy of the 21st century.

Greening Memphis – Our city’s parks and greenways can provide economic, social, and environmental benefits to every Memphian. Unlike other cities investing in new park land, Memphis already has an abundance of natural resources within its urban core.
