    by Danielle Wilburn - WMC-TV -

With the summer vacation coming to an end for teachers and students, one Memphis museum is doing its part to be sure instructors are prepared for the upcoming school year.

Next week, the National Civil Rights Museum will host a workshop for social science and history educators.  During this course teachers will learn about the state standards and how to properly teach civil rights history to their students.

This teacher development session is free and is adaptable to all grade levels. The workshop will be Tuesday, July 24 at 9 a.m.
