Forbes has named Memphis among its 10 best U.S. cities for a weekend vacation.

The Forbes article details cities that can be sufficiently visited in a long weekend. Needless to say, New York City, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles weren't among the cities listed but it's still nice to see the publication finally give Memphis some positive recognition.
 
The article references Graceland as Memphis' biggest draw but also points to Beale Street, barbecue restaurants and the National Civil Rights Museum as good options for tourists.
 
"Music, history and food come together in one tasty place," according to the article.
 
The 10 cities weren't ranked, just listed. Other cities on the list include Austin, Texas; New Orleans; Nashville; Seattle; and Boston. You can find the full Forbes story, with a slideshow of all 10 cities, here.
