The Wolf River Conservancy board of directors recently voted unanimously to hire Keith Cole as executive director.
Cole began his new position April 4, bringing a background of successful strategic and tactical planning, human resource management, team building and leadership, as well as marketing and public relations.
He holds a bachelor of science degree in Business Management from Arkansas State University and has been a long-time Memphian, graduating from the Leadership Memphis program in 2001.
One of Cole’s first shows of support will be at the 25th celebration of protecting the Wolf River with the Wolf River Conservancy, which will feature a Dinner on the Greenway.
Guests will enjoy a sunset catered picnic which includes a picnic blanket big enough for four, a picnic basket full of surprises, including dinner from Heart and Soul Catering, and spirits from Ghost River Brewery.
The cost per person is $250. Corporate/group tables are available for a contribution of $2,000. Tables will seat up to eight. With limited space, only 50 picnic blankets and 15 corporate/group tables are available.
