MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The students at the Stax Academy got a visit from former first lady Laura Bush and she received a little serenade.

The students performed Led Zepplin's "Black Dog."

Mrs. Bush was in town for the Get Motivated Seminar. She took a break to take a tour of Stax Academy and meet with some very excited students.

Mrs. Bush, a former teacher, was impressed with what she saw at the charter school.

"The people in Memphis have really figured out a great way to educate kids. You know you don't have to be a great football player to get a college scholarship you can be a great musician to get a scholarship as well," said Mrs. Bush.

Mrs. Bush said the school has found a way to teach students while they have a good time. The students also performed a song and presented the former first lady with a gift.
