Education in New Orleans As classrooms open again this month in cities across the country, schools are on our minds. Today on the show we have two revolutionaries in the field of education. Leslie Jacobs is a native of New Orleans who is using her experience as a business executive to reform public schools. She's the founder of a not-for-profit called "Educate Now," and she'll join us to talk about the work she's doing to rebuild the education system in New Orleans and keep talent in the city. Technology has changed the way we do almost everything...from banking to shopping, to the ways we communicate. But the average school classroom is not much different today than it was fifty years ago.
