The Hyde Family Foundations believe that the thoughtful redevelopment and design of our urban core is vital to making Memphis a world-class, 21st century city.  We also believe that strong neighborhoods are the essential building blocks needed to strengthen and sustain a healthy urban core.  To that end, the Foundations seek to support projects that feature strong leaders building vibrant urban communities around Foundation-prioritized neighborhood anchors.  We believe these steadfast anchors and high-functioning communities can help lead and speed the transformation of neighborhoods that will allow Memphis to reach new heights. 

Additionally, we aim to make investments that leverage public funds to stimulate the creation of healthy, vibrant neighborhoods.
